Orders being shipped to ROI, Europe (including international) may qualify for import duty and/or VAT in the destination country. All duties charged by the destination authorities are the responsibility of the recipient.
Some large scale items are not available for delivery worldwide. We are able to offer some custom shipments with specialist courier services for larger items, so if you require a bespoke quote thats not included on this list please get in touch.
Turnaround & Delivery Times
Our products have production turnarounds from 5 to 10 working days depending on their size and spec. Our dedicated product pages will give you more information on their individual turnaround times. Once finished in production, your order will be despatched with our reliable couriers, and you will be able to track your parcel throughout its journey until delivery.
For UK mainland deliveries, you will receive two emails:
- When the parcel leaves us.
- Confirming a dedicated delivery time slot in which your parcel will arrive.
The courier service usually issues an hour window for arrival, and requires a signature, please ensure someone is there to sign for the parcel. The courier will also contact you directly via email or text should you wish to add additional delivery instructions, leave with a neighbour or collect from a local pick up store.
Transit times:
Next Working Day: United Kingdom, Scotland mainland
1 to 2 working days: Ireland, Scottish highlands, Channel Islands.
Saturday delivery:
We do not currently offer a Saturday service, all parcels are delivered from Monday to Friday.
Europe & the rest of the world
We offer an international service to Europe and beyond, typically being delivered in 3-5 working days. Delivery times and prices to other locations vary depending on the product ordered. All delivery costs are calculated at the checkout.
Brexit Update
As of the 1st of January 2021, the United Kingdom has left the European Union. As a result, there are some important changes that have taken place for our non UK based customers for orders moving forward. If you are sending a parcel outside of the UK this may mean that you are liable for custom fees including the final VAT on your product. VAT custom charges are the responsibility of the recipient or purchaser, SIM will not be liable for any customs fees. If a custom fee is requested from border control you will be sent an email with a link to pay. It is essential that you double check all contact information on each order to ensure it’s correct and you are reachable via these channels.
VAT For Orders Outside The UK
Any orders via SIM that are being shipped outside of the UK will no longer be charged VAT at the checkout whether you are VAT registered or not. When the item arrives in its destination the VAT will be charged to the recipient by the local customs department based on the VAT rules of the destination country. This means that VAT will not be added at the time of purchase from SIM but will instead be paid upon arrival in the destination country, so the final amount paid for the product will remain the same. Each customs department will have a processing admin charge which is usually a small fee and is again decided by your local customs department. VAT registered companies can then reclaim this VAT in the same way as you would usually claim VAT for any purchases made in their country.
We would recommend including your EORI & VAT number in the special instructions on each order if you have one as this will speed up the shipping process. This is essential if you are registered as a business address. If your item is being ordered from the UK or abroad but delivered to a UK address, VAT will be charged on the order as normal at the checkout where VAT applies.
Combined Shipping
You can order up to 5 items in your cart on SIM. For our online products, this can be a combination of frames, USB or stationery products. For our desktop SIMWARE software, you can add 5 separate designs of books, albums or smaller products before proceeding to the checkout. Shipping charges for combined baskets will vary, as the final cost is calculated by the size and weight of products in your cart. The above pricing is used as a guide so the final costs may vary at the checkout depending on size, weight and destination.
Collection
You can also collect your order from us free of charge. You will receive an email from us as soon as the order is finished and ready to collect. Once you have received your completion email you can come to collect your order from our offices in Hatfield, we are open from Monday to Friday between 10:00am and 4:00pm.

Is it possible to order more than one item at a time?
It is possible to order multiple items for delivery when at the checkout. Add up to 3 items to your basket before completing your payment at the checkout.
Is it possible to combine deliveries?
It is possible to request to combine deliveries by phone, email or via the special instructions box. Your order will only be dispatched once all components are complete so they can be packaged together, please bear this in when combining 5 day and 10 day products. You cannot combine orders already in production, and once your order has been submitted to production for print, it is not possible to cancel the order.
Can I combine a SIM Imaging order with another SIM brand order?
It is not possible to combine the delivery of products from SIM Imaging with orders from SIMLAB, these must be ordered separately.
Is my delivery guaranteed to arrive the next day?
While our couriers offer a fantastic service and next working day delivery to the mainland UK, unfortunately this is not guaranteed. Whilst they endeavour to do our best, there can be delays due to reasonable circumstances out of their control. Should you struggle to track your parcel, please get in touch with us directly as we work closely with our local courier representatives to assist with locating your delivery.
My parcel has arrived damaged, who should I contact?
If your parcel is damaged whilst in transit please let us know directly within 24 hours of receipt with photographs of the damage in question. You can send these to our dispatch team for investigation via email to
[email protected] and we can then contact you directly with a resolution.
Can I ship direct to my client?
Yes. When placing your order please specify your client’s delivery address in the delivery address fields. All parcels to UK mainland are dispatched as white label as standard, so please ensure you enter your clients address in the designated delivery address section, not the order comments or special instructions. Always ensure you enter your own email address in all sections as all invoices are sent via email once the order is placed.
How do I pay my custom fee?

If your local customs department is unable to contact you, the parcel will be returned to SIM and the delivery fee will need to be paid again in order to re-ship the order. Orders will be sent from DPD or Parcelforce (GLS) depending on the product and destination country, so please keep an eye out for any emails or notifications from these couriers and remember to check your spam folders.
Can you ship internationally to Europe & rest of the world?
We can ship to many different countries with some exceptions, and prices and delivery times will vary. Enter your delivery country and address at the checkout and your courier costs will be calculated based on weight.
